Cookies and browser local storage mechanisms are small data text files saved to your computer or mobile device when navigating web platforms. They enable websites to remember user preferences and cookie choice persistence over time.
On portfoliolistlom.cyou, we use persistent browser storage (`localStorage`) specifically to retain your cookie consent preference (`portfoliolistlom_cookie_consent`). Once an option is chosen, the popup banner will not display again on subsequent visits unless your local browser cache is cleared.
| Category | Purpose | Retention Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Essential Storage | Saves cookie banner selection state to prevent repetitive popups. | Persistent until cleared |
| Telemetry Preference | Remembers user navigation filters across hardware benchmark tabs. | Session length |
You can manage or clear cookies directly within your web browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Disabling essential cookies will reset your preferences banner on your next visit.
